Interview with Clifton Collins, Jr. from 'Extract'
Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 10:13PM
Earlier this summer, we had the chance to talk to actor Clifton Collins,
Jr., who has had a very busy year or so. In addition to all the films, he won a CMT
award, believe it or not, for directing the video for the Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried." And the awards show was on
his birthday, which had to be a nice bonus.

But between Star Trek, Crank: High Voltage, Sunshine Cleaning, next month's Extract, and the soon-to-be-released Boondock Saints II: All
Saints Day, there has been no shortage of opportunities to see Collins' work. He's also in Jim Sheridan's
Brothers, with Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Natalie Portman, and that one is being whispered about in some
awards circles.
With Sunshine Cleaning on DVD this Tuesday and with Extract only a couple of weeks away, we thought it was
the best time to let you listen to our interview, which covers a little bit of everything.
