Rejoice: Six New Clips from '9'

Man, I hate being one movie clip short of a great pun. Sigh... As it stands, enjoy Six of 9, and hopefully, I won't have to explain the pun that never was. Anyway, the pun is kind of beside the point, because if we've got any clips from Shane Acker's new 3-D animated film, it's sure to stoke a fire with a lot of you. Very few movies have generated as much curiosity with very little advertising or big name stars. I've been surprised by not just the number of e-mails we've gotten about it, but also from the wide scope of people who seem interested, everyone from teenagers to soccer moms. I think the reason is that there is a hunger among adults for the studios to embrace them as a vital audience for animation, rather than just ticket buyers for the kiddies. We've been here all along, and yes, we sure do love the Pixar stuff, but you can have more adult themes and situations. Really. It's fine.
