'Armored' Trailer with Matt Dillon and Columbus Short

Perhaps what happens in Armored is a lot more exciting than either of the trailers supporting it. I can think of where that excitement might come from, but everything else looks a little like every other bad cop movie on the block. I like Columbus Short and the gimmick here - trapping a good cop in an armored car loaded with stolen cash and surrounded by the bad cops who stole it - might fill a good 20 minutes to a half-hour. I'd be concerned if it's half the movie, though. Also, Matt Dillon is a villain again, which might not be bad, either. In truth, this has a really good lead cast, with Jean Reno and Laurence Fishburne also on the force, which makes me wonder why I don't like the trailer more. As always, trailers and movies aren't the same thing, so the film could be a lot better than what I'm watching here.
Trailer courtesy of Trailer Addict Armored has a pretty strange release date - December 9th - when the trailer makes it feel more like one of those late-August/mid-September affairs. Damn trailers...
