Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 9:50PM Cool New Poster for Michael Moore's 'Capitalism'
I really dig this new poster for Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story. His films
generally aren't supported by great supplemental media, but you could also make the argument that most
documentary fans aren't lured in by posters. Point taken.

However, SiCKO was a major drop-off for Moore after the unrealistic high water mark of Fahrenheit
9/11. In fact, it didn't even do as well as Bowling for Columbine, which was released pre-
Fahrenheit, at a time when docs weren't big business at all.
So now there's Capitalism, and ironically, Michael Moore wants your money for a movie about corporate
devils stealing your money. Movies about current events have been tough to sell, for which I partially blame the
saturation of news across broadcast and cable outlets and the internet; people simply don't want to pay to be
confronted with the news, and in this case, news about losing their life savings. But to help dig into your
pockets, here's one of the more eye-catching posters in a while.
