Mickey Rourke Goes 'Inside the Actors Studio'

Tonight, recent Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke is the guest of James Lipton on Inside the Actors Studio on Bravo. He'll no doubt discuss his career, which has had stratsopheric highs and cataclysmic lows in the past 25 years or so.

He appears to have found some peace, which has also displayed itself in his performances in the past couple of years, especially in the self-referrential role in The Wrestler. But if you go back a few years - not that I'd recommend it for casual viewing - you can see a guy who had just shut it all off. Worse than laziness, really.

As expected, Lipton has some great questions and elicits strong, emotional reactions from his guest, and here are a handful of clips from tonight's show:

I saw the episode wow it was fascinating...

Seeing into the life, even for a brief glimpse, into one of the greatest actors and dissapointment in the last 30 or so years...

Wow what pain and turbulence he has gone through from his father, abusive step father, mother, younger brother, and drugs/alcohol abuse....

Mickey is really a great man an original outspoken guy who deserves respect!

Wow what a story about the audition huh?
I mean what a compliment and praise from most likely the SINGLE GREATEST DIRECTOR OF PERHAPS ALL TIME FOR ACTORS - ELIA KAZAN!!!

I wish I just couldve seen that audition!!!

Well, I don't know about most likely, but Kazan was very good.

Shame on Lipton, 60% of people interested in Mickey Rourke can't watch this. Charlie Rose ain't that selfish!

Mickey Rourke is a natural movie star who has always been able to command and control each scene with a minimum of effort.

I'm glad that he came back, which is a credit to the movie industry.

I can't watch this because it's not available where I live, in Nova Scotia, Canada. Is it available on you tube along with the other countless episodes of this show and if not, why not?
