'New Moon' Trailer Shows Up Online Two Days Early

I smell a cease and desist coming my way... To the best of my knowledge, this new trailer for The Twilight Saga: New Moon was supposed to debut during the VMAs on MTV this weekend, but these things have a way of leaking online before their official debuts. It's a handheld recording, so the quality's not stellar, but you get to see the Volturi (including Dakota Fanning as Jane and Michael Sheen as Aro), and I don't think they've made appearances in any of the video before now. Kudos to Big Picture reader Lillian J., who Tweeted me about this little find, and now you have one less reason to watch the Video Music Awards, so I just saved your weekend. Thank me later. I've got to say, for either one of the Twilight movies, this is far and away the best trailer they've produced.

The trailer is a shortened version of the one being shown at the MTV VMA's that is being shown in front of Sorority Row.

Thanks, Liesl. I can't imagine the theatrical version could be much longer. They usually top out at about 2:30. So are you saying there's still a reason to see the VMAs?
