Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 10:08PM Trailer - The Michael Jackson Documentary, 'This Is It'
During the Video Music Awards on MTV, the new trailer for This is It made its world premiere. The movie is, of course, the Michael Jackson documentary, the behind-the-scenes look at The King of Pop preparing for his ill-fated series of concerts in London.

I'm assuming there was always some plan to release a film based on this event. To begin with, everything was being filmed. For another, almost immediately after Jackson's death, news of a possible documentary hit the front pages. And about four months after it was officially announced, a movie based on thousands of hours of footage will be in theaters.
Here's the new trailer. It's really good, almost exactly what I envisioned it would be:
The movie opens October 28th, and will be in theaters for only a couple of weeks, so rush out to see it...or wait another month and buy it on DVD. That hasn't been announced yet, but I think it's a pretty safe bet.

Looks great, but man was he thin. Poor guy was trying to turn things around once again and ended up living to close to the edge. So many demons.
Yes I 2nd that looks awesome, this should beat Michael Moore's box office record...
Im excited I mean what an entertainer, what a musical genius, there will be no other Michael Jackson and no one will sell even near the amount of records he did....
His fans are the definition of "DIEHARD" so we'll see how that reflects the box office, I hope we get some insight into his life or near the end of his life.....!!!
Great!
