Monday, September 14, 2009 at 11:04PM Michael Bay Might Make 'Transformers 3' for 2011
I find it ironic that Michael Bay's website isn't more...explosive. As famous people blogs go, it's really bare bones. I demand more robots and hot chicks!

Today, the website provided three updates about future film projects, although it wasn't Bay but some guy named Nelson who wrote the entry. But Nelson talked to Bay, who filled in some gaps about Bad Boys 3, Transformers 3, and Pain & Gain, the last of which is based on a Miami New Times article about weightlifters and steroid freaks gone wrong. Surprise!
Here's what we know: Bay is meeting with Spielberg and Ehren Kruger this week to cook up ideas about the next Transformers movie. "By the end of the week he should have an idea if Transformers 3 will hit your local cineplex in the summer of 2011 or 2012," promises that Nelson guy.
Of the other two movies, "Either film [will be] coming to a theater near you before or after Transformers 3." Well, that's enlightening.
Earlier this year, Bay said he couldn't commit to doing another Transformers movie so soon after this summer's blockbuster, and in fact, wrote on his blog after Paramount announced a 2011 release date that he'd not be able to work on that schedule, pushing instead for a 2012 release.
Will that change? Money talks. And Bay usually listens.

Looks like Megan Fox will have to learn to get along with Michael Bay for one more movie...
