Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 3:18PM Demand 'Paranormal Activity' In Your Town
There's a new viral drumbeating campaign to get the new horror flick Paranormal Activity in a theater near you. In fact, on the official website, there's a Demand It section, and I guess the cities that generate the most demand see the film first. A pretty good way to go about it, if you ask me.

Among horror critics, the film is getting incredible response, and more than most reviewers, the ones in that genre tend to reflect the consensus among their readers. And any movie with a character named The Demonologist is sure to hit close to the hearts of horror fans everywhere.
The poster is above (click to enlarge it) and the trailer from Slamdance is below. Some of you are bound to be really freaked out.
If you liked what you saw, head over to the official site and sign up to demand Paranormal Activity. Can't hurt. Not until the movie starts, anyway.

OMG great posting...
Ive heard SOO much about this being just one of the greatest horror/scary films ever made...like up there with Blair Witch....
I really am tempted to see it!!!
Im not the greatest fan of this genre and thoroughly ridicule it but I wanna know what with all the hype for this film
I will be thoroughly disappointed if this is as bad as "Blair Witch." BW was nothing but people running and making the audience nauseated. It's word-of-mouth was big because it was presented as a "documentary" of a real incident - that's why it scared film festival audiences. When it was revealed to not be a tape found somewhere, it lost all its power.
Let's hope this one doesn't disappoint in the same way. I'm wondering if the audience for this screening was initially told that this was "genuine footage of real incidents", thus eliciting bigger reactions?
