Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 12:07PM Despite War of Words, Fox Back for 'Transformers 3'
Despite taking a pronounced scorched earth approach to her Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen promotional duties, Megan Fox says she's looking forward to round three. It all started this summer when Fox, who either works without a filter or goes to the extreme to be provocative, lit up the sequel for offering her very little to do. It expanded from that into a strange fit of mutual name-calling between Fox and director Michael Bay, and then it really turned ugly.

Several Transformers crew members took to the internet to verbally burn Fox alive at the stake, saying she had the proper skills to be a porn star and calling her "a thankless, classless, graceless, unfriendly bitch," among other things. Bay shot back this weekend saying he didn't condone the letter, and now Fox has issued her most restrained comment about anything ever:
"I have spoken with the parties involved privately," she tells Entertainment Weekly. "I am very fortunate to be involved in this amazing franchise and look forward to Transformers 3."
My thought all along was that Fox was purposely being a boor so that she could wiggle out of the third film. Despite the paycheck, she was only remotely invovled with part two, so I could see why she'd be a little frustrated. But we must have misread her signals, you know, the ones where she was trashing the movie; Megan can't wait to work with giant robots again.
It's also worth pointing out that another crew member on Transformers had the complete opposite view of this weekend's scathing letter. Seeking to be completely disassociated with the first letter, production assistant Anthony Steinhart wrote, "I have personally never been nor ever witnessed Ms. Fox being rude or inconsiderate of people’s feelings or the work to be done."
We won't hold him accountable for the poor structure of that sentence, but if you read the whole letter, Steinhart really goes to bat for Fox.
But something tells me she might take the kettle off the boil for a while in her interviews.

I remember hearing how Emma Watson was going through something similar because she was unhappy on the Harry Potter sets because of issues with her character and stuff, but she handled it with a lot more grace and dignity and appreciation of the franchise that launched her career. I cant say for sure what is happening halfway across the world with people I dont even know, but it does make sense that maybe she wanted out of the 3rd, but it seems possibly like more a frustration thing, seeing as she is coming back for the 3rd
Seriously, Colin, where do you find the pictures for these articles? LOL I'm going to insist my wife lay on the coutertop the next time she's grilling up some bacon (it puts her out of harm's way from the hot grease pops, right?)
That's a Mark Seliger shot from the new Rolling Stone, and thank you for mentioning it. I had forgotten to cite it before.
This was inevitable. As miserable as she may have been with having to work for Michael Bay she doesn't really have anything to fall back on. 98% of people can't name a non-Transformers project she has been involved with and the early buzz of Jennifer's Body is not good which a pretty good sign she probably won't have much of a career outside of being eye candy in action flicks. And given that hotties in Hollywood are a dime a dozen she really has no choice but to play nice with her directors.
I'm sure her work in Jonah Hex will be awesome! Oh wait...action flick....nevermind
Oh what the hell? I like my bitches bitchin' mean and feisty as all get out! Now Megan's all powder puff cute and demure even, it right turns my stomach. Someone out there should get Shannen Doherty to give her a call and set her straight. I mean if you're going to walk the line... then walk it dammit!
LOL This is such a non-issue. I can't think of two people I would care to hear from less. If Fox isn't in Transformers 3, we'll get some other eye-candy. If she is? Well I can certainly think of worse things to look at...
Did you read the article? The stupid quotes just keep coming
"Men are scared of vaginas. And then when you give them a powerful, confident vagina, they're terrified. They don't know how to deal with it. Look I didn't figure out something special here. I wasn't born with a special vagina. All vaginas are created equal."
