Check Out the 'Saw VI' Blood Drive Photo Shoot

A while ago, we showed you this freaky poster for the annual Saw blood drive. It's not just a great gimmick, it's actually a terrific way of giving back, as the good deed has accounted for tens of thousands of pints of blood in the last half-decade. Good for these guys. The posters, not surprisingly, are usually pretty cool for the Saw VI edition, and that certainly fits the M.O. for the Saw flicks in general. But this is the first time I've seen a behind-the-scenes video of the photo shoot, as model Katherine MacDonald undergoes a major transformation to become...well, whatever that is. I like that we learn the history of the project, get to see photographer Tim Palen in his element, and we also meet some of the previous Saw nurses. The blood drive runs through October - but give any time at all, if you can - and the film opens on October 23rd.
