This Week in Trailers: 'Book of Eli,' Sequels to 'Ong Bak' and '[REC]'

Almost by default, the traler of the week is The Book of Eli with Denzel Washington. It probably has the most name recognition of any films in the most recent crop of teasers, and it's the first full feature trailer for the new post-apocalyptic movie. Looks OK. I was more impressed with some set visit video from earlier in the year, and that may be a more accurate portrayal of the actual movie. Unintentionally, we have a lot of genre films featured in this week's other trailer: A horror flick, a martial arts movie, a documentary about the movie industry, a young adult fantasy novel adaptation, and coming-of-middle-age drama: Denzel in the Hughes Brothers' Book of Eli The Spanish horror sequel [REC] 2, now with English subtitles Tony Jaa's latest jaw-dropper Ong Bak 2 Official Rejection tackles the increasing corporatization of film festivals, but in a funny way Movie title or 60's soul supergroup: Percy Jackson & The Olympians Robin Wright Penn and Blake Lively explore The Private Lives of Pippa Lee

This is one movie I definitely won't miss! About time Denzel got some action.... :)
