Ferrell, Wahlberg in Action as 'The Other Guys'

Here's our first look at the comedy dream team of Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell in The Other Guys, courtesy of Collider. It's a new cop comedy co-written by the movie's director, his longtime collaborator and Funny or Die contributor Adam McKay. Usually, Ferrell and McKay write together, but not here; it's a collaboration with Land of Lost writer Chris Hency. The film casts Ferrell and Wahlberg as the B-team, and that was actually a working title for the film once upon a time. While Jackson and Johnson are the kind of cops they make movies about - saving the day, causing explosions, being cool - Ferrell and Wahlberg don't get the glory. And I assume they're called into action or something. The Other Guys is shooting in New York City now and will be released next summer.

I seem to remember Ferrell being attached to star in a cop comedy w/ Jack Black @ one point in time. Is this the same movie? And has Marky Mark replaced Jables?
