Trailer - Woody Harrelson in 'Defendor'

Remember when Woody Harrelson got an Oscar nomination for The People vs. Larry Flynt. Kind of had the world in the palm of his hand at that moment. Of course, that's not really Woody, the Maui hemp farmer. So he was kind of off the grid from time to time since then, but he's back in full force in 2009. He has two movies left this year, Zombieland and 2012, and maybe a third in Defendor. He plays an average guy who believes he's a superhero in this new comedy, which will play at the Toronto Film Festival in a little over a week, and that could hold the key to whether or not the film gets a US distributor. Harrelson is the headline, of course, because even when he does work, he doesn't often get juicy leading roles these days, but the film also stars Kat Dennings, and that's not half-bad.
