Trailer - 'Brief Interviews With Hideous Men'

In addition to having a great title, the book Brief Interviews with Hideous Men was a pretty sizable hit about a decade ago for David Foster Wallace. It's a collection of a couple dozen short stories based on guys with some regrettable traits. There's already been a stage play version of Wallace's book, and now John Krasinski from The Office has directed the film adaptation. It is, as you probably guessed, Krasinski's first mission as a director, and the film played at Sundance this year to average to above average reviews. Obviously, they've quoted the better ones in the trailer. But having read the book, I guess I'm still interested to see how the anthology structure works as a movie, particularly for a first-time writer-director. Here's our first look at the trailer for Hideous Men, which opens later this month, actually. September 25th, to be exact.
