Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 4:33AM A 'Sarah Connor Chronicles' Movie a Possibility?
Two years was all Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles could manage
on Fox. The network pulled the plug on the series in May after it failed to ever really capitalize
on a post-Super Bowl debut in 2008.

But that doesn't mean the alternate Terminator storyline is done. Thomas Dekker talked to
The TV Addict about possbilities to keep the story going. "They've spoken about doing a TV
movie.Well, not a TV movie, but kind of like a direct-to-DVD movie," Decker said.
As exciting as that is to fans of the show, there's a major reason such a movie may not happen.

"Obviously it’s difficult because the show is based on a movie and they just had one come out, so it’s kind of hard to make a movie with our show because everyone has kind of forgotten about us. But they’re hoping, at least when I spoke to [Producer] James Middleton, that’s where they are with it."As with anything like this, it's not automatic that it could happen even if the producers wanted to move it forward. Summer Glau's got a new gig, Dekker's got a few film projects going, and...well, you get the idea. Then there's the mindset that if you couldn't get more than a few million people to watch this show for free, asking them to pay for it may not be a smart business move. Hard to argue.

It is a hard argue to sell that if people wouldn't watch it free, why would they pay for it? Well, that's why the Season 2 DVDs/Blu-rays are very important to the future of TSCC. Join in the campaign to promote the show and spread the word of it's awesomeness.

I watched the entire TV series, but I thought it lost its way halfway through the second season. I was not a fan of the bizarre ending to the series as well. It is probably best to leave it be.
no, just no.
I would of said that before the crazy crazy crazy ending of the second season.
I think the ending was set-up as a beggining of something new (definitely not a great final episode), obviously there was no for-sight of the show being cancelled... There are still many questions left to explain from season 2, sometimes an ending can be pretty much perfect ala Buffy Season 7 (I think even the most hardcore of fans was pretty ok with how it was tied up)...
Something that TSCC was not given a chance to do... Firefly was a great show!!! SERENITY was a fanstastic and gratifying movie for all fans & the public alike!!!
I think the American networks//production companies need to look beyond the obvious lake ratings in the US alone, and take note of the general level of popularity of the show internationally...
Basicallt the TSCC is better than both T3 & T4... The only truly worthy story line for post T2... Episodes like "Samson & Delilah" are evidence of this!!!
just my thoughts as an Aussie fan of TSCC
