Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 10:05PM Tony Hale in the Short Film 'CTRL-Z'
Kudos to Paste, which hipped me to this very funny video starring Tony Hale from Arrested Development and the upcoming The Informant! To some of you, the web series CTRL may not be news, but I had never heard of it, perhaps because I can't find another compelling reason to head over to NBC.com, especially during the summer hiatus.

But this office comedy about a guy with a literal keyboard has run ten episodes exclusively online, and apparently, that's the first time a network has commissioned original programming just for the website, meaning these aren't supporting the TV show the way The Office minisodes do.
Director Robert Kirbyson had developed what was then called CTRL Z as a short film, which NBC picked up, and the rest is pretty easy to piece together. Now, about that literal keyboard: If Tony Hale presses CTRL-B then he gets bolder. CTRL-Z is a complete do-over. So here's the short film, and then head over to NBC.com to check out the whole series.

Ok that was good, and thank you for sharing it.
Also enjoyed it a lot. End song is sweet.
Tony Hale is fantastic. He and my son Dean Smedley could play brothers. They act/talk and look so much alike. Thanks Tony. Going to see The Informant this weekend.
Semper fi,
