Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 9:28PM 'Avatar' Sex Scene Will Be Included on the DVD
Bown chicka wown wown! We're going to get blue alien sex on the unrated Avatar DVD. The scene already exists, but James Cameron said recently it had to get the axe. "We had it in and we cut it out," Cameron told reporters. "So that will be something for the special edition DVD, if you want to see how they have sex."

Zoe Saldana went into more detail, telling ReelzChannel how the birds and the bees works with the Na'vis little USB cable/dreadlock thing.
"If you sync to your banshee and you’re syncing to a tree, why not sync into a person? I almost feel like you’ll have the most amazing orgasm, I guess. It was a very funny scene to shoot because there were so many technical things that sometimes you have to keep in mind that paying attention to all those might disrupt the fluidity of how a scene is supposed to take place.""And because Jim was shooting for a PG-13 rating, we couldn’t move in certain directions. The motion would look a little too past the PG-13 rating standards. So it was really funny for Sam and me. We had a lot of giggles there." This reminds me that, in the months leading up to the film's release, Cameron's concept artist Jordu Schell commented that the director wanted the audience to want to a round with Neytiri, if you know what I mean. And now we'll see just what the hell that would look like.

It sruck me that their mating was TOO human-like. I just figured perhaps there's just some similarity since they appear to be mammals, so they should do it like they do on the Discovery channel.
I liked how on the deleted scenes of "District 9" there was a scene that explains the earthworm-like reproduction of the "prawns". So there's two movies that have a problem with alien birds and bees. Gee, you just can't get ANY from mainstream movies these days.
My friends asked why the hominid Na'vi were the only chordate animal on Pandora with four limbs rather than six. Doesn't make much sense taxonomically. My quibble is with the number of clearly terrestrial ferns laying around, not to mention the exact one-to-one correspondence of every Pandoran animal with a Terran animal. There shouldn't be such obvious comparisons.
Nerd talk!
Well evolutionally speaking there are several differnt reasons why similar organisms under similar conditions such as the competition for resources, amount of light, amount of water, temperature, ect., would undergo simialr evolution leading to similar traits. These organisms are said to have homologous structures because the structures are similar in function however the structure and evolutionary history of the organisms vary greatly,
They were also the only ones with 2 eyes. all the animals had four i believe.
i just wanna see Sam Worthington naked! ; )
Yeah! Need to refill my supply of blue penis that Dr. Manhattan filled up last year.
