Algebraic First Poster for 'Hot Tub Time Machine'

Hot Tub Time Machine may hold a place of distinction in Hollywood history. Depending on when the sale/divestiture of MGM happens, this movie could be the last from MGM as we know it. Metro-Goldwyn is almost $4 billion in debt, other studios are kicking the tires to see what they might bid on the assets (probably nowhere above $2.5 billion), and Time Machine is due out in March. So by that point, The Lion may have new ownership, and if it doesn't, that should happen shortly thereafter.

Another distinction held by Time Machine is that it's the first movie designed as a dumb comedy (I mean that in only the most flattering way) that also incorporates algebra into its poster. And you thought you'd never need math again. We learned in the most recent trailer why Clark Duke's character looks the same in one column as the other: He wasn't alive in 1986, which is the year our heroes find themselves transported to, so he emerges unaffected. Until, you know, he learns that his mom is a whore.

To be fair KXB, I've been saying that for a long time, but he's been pretty funny in Community. Admittedly, I didn't like Community when it first came out, but it's been the best thing on NBC Thursdays for a few weeks in a row now. I'm just as surprised as everyone else to be honest. So perhaps he might be pretty good in this film. He looks like he was added as an afterthought on this poster, so perhaps they wanted to include him due to his resurging popularity??? I don't know, I could just be taling out of my ass.
