Red Band Trailer - 'She's Out of My League'

Oh, Red Band Trailer...why do you always offer such randy goodness? I'm concerned about She's Out My League for the reason you will be: It looks like we may get all the laughs in this easy-to-swallow three minute pill. Certainly, there are plenty of funny moments and quality lines in the Red Band, but it's not exactly the freshest concept in the universe, so you have to wonder what happens as the formula plays out. Do these moments just add some spikes as the story goes along or is this just an appetizer? The film stars Jay Baruchel as a dork who works for the TSA and finds himself the object of Alice Eve's affection. I think we could say that, all other things being equal, she probably would be out of his league. Again, this sort of thing has been explored before, so it's really about the window dressing they put on it. Looks OK, even better if we have laughs than they pack into the Red Band.

I've actually been waiting for this movie for a while. I kinda like the fact that there's finally a movie that acknowledges & has fun with the time-tested formula of "geeky/nerdy/clumsy/lanky guy gets with super hot, down-to-earth girl". The red-band trailer had a lot of laughs IMO as well, so I'm definitely interested, even if the writers of the horrid Sex Drive are behind this.
Lastly, although I don't see it being a complete breakout hit, this is being distributed by Dreamworks in the same slot that I Love You Man opened last year. Just saying...

just saw an advance screening of this movie & there were some parts of this film that the audience was rolling in the aisles.
