Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11:05PM Bradley Cooper to Tackle 'The Flash'?
In Warner Brothers' growing attempt to bring all of the famed DC comics to the big screen, it looks as though The Flash may be the next feature film on the assembly line after Green Lantern and Superman. It is rumored that the final script will be turned in sometime between this Thanksgiving and Christmas, written by Green Lantern screenwriters Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green along with Life as We Know It director Greg Berlanti.

Berlanti will most likely not direct the big budget feature, currently in development. An insider has said, "He won't want to direct it because he kinda wants to do something in between size-wise first before attempting something that large. If Warner Bros does like the script and wants him to direct it... But that's a lot of ifs. And all of it is moot if they don't dig the script. Green Lantern wasn't real until the studio liked the draft."
The only thing we do know is that The Hangover star, Bradley Cooper, is being considered for the role of The Flash. Despite the fact that he lost out on the role of Hal Jordan in Green Lantern to Ryan Reynolds, Warner Brothers has a sweet spot for the growing star, and, according to sources, we should start hearing his name in the mix a lot more in the coming months.

I'm glad we finally have an actor possibility, but I don't know much about Cooper. The script isn't even written yet, so who knows what will change in the next 6 months..
