Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:06AM 'The Thing' Trailer Leaks from NY Comic Con
I'm not sure if you can call this a legitimate leak because in a world where every mobile device has a video record function, you have to show stuff knowing that someone is going to capture it and put it on YouTube. This leak comes to us straight from the New York Comic Con where they unveiled The Thing trailer to a large audience.

I must apologize for the shitty quality and for the most part, you can't even make out what's being shown but the narrative is fairly clear. The movie is a prequel of the 1982 John Carpenter film and takes place right before the original film. The movie was filmed in Port Lands of Toronto, Canada.
Although the trailer looks good (from what I can tell), I'm a bit skeptical considering that it comes from a first time director, Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. I haven't seen any of his work. Hopefully, this will be a great launchpad to his career.

Despite the shitty quality of the trailer, it looks like a very cool movie.
Nope. Crap.
