Artsy New Posters for 'Black Swan'

We already know that Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan is getting a ton of awards-season and festival-circuit hype. Now the marketing campaign is heating up, and it's taking some interesting turns. Courtesy of Empire Online, we've got four new pieces of "international teaser artwork" to share with you.

These posters take a decidedly different angle than the ones we've seen previously. Rather than featuring the heavily made-up Natalie Portman, they're more abstract. All 4 feature swan imagery combined with ballet themes, with a little bit of creepiness thrown in.

Maybe it's just because Portman is in the movie, but these remind me of the posters for V for Vendetta quite a bit. Probably due to the color scheme, too. At any rate, they're pretty great, and quite unique.

Click on each picture below to expand. Directed by Aronofsky, Black Swan stars Portman, Mila Kunis, Winona Ryder, and Vincent Cassel. It opens in the U.S. on December 1st.

Well they're in more of a "playbill" style, like you would have for an actual ballet or stage performance. Pretty clever.
