Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 8:02PM Matt Damon, Ben and Casey Affleck to Collaborate on 'The Trade'
Here's big brother Ben and his best friend Matt to the rescue. Casey Affleck who recently disclosed that he pretty much spent every dime he had to make I'm Still Here must be looking for a sure thing to get his finances back on track. Well aside from a superhero movie, it doesn't get much more certain than getting involved with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck who are on a hot streak at the moment. Not to mention the last time these guys were together, their movie won 2 Oscars and was nominated for 9. Right now, these guys can't miss.
Mike Kekick and Fritz Peterson (sorry for the grainy photo but this one is old)
In a recent interview with MTV, Affleck said that he and Casey Affleck will be rewriting the script for The Trade, which is a story about New York Yankees pictures Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson who literally traded their lives with each other.
Says Ben Affleck, "I don’t know how it’ll come together, acting and directing, but Casey and I have decided to write it together. Once the script’s kind of ready, then it’s like: Who’s doing what? What’s the time frame? Matt, me, Casey directing? Particularly for Matt, he’s had this extraordinary career where he’s worked with these great directors. He’s a great director who just hasn’t directed a movie."
So Matt might be making his directorial debut with this film and who better than Ben Affleck to show him a few pointers. Say what you will about Ben Affleck's acting but if you saw The Town and Gone Baby Gone, this guy is legit. Sure, he's only directed two films but he's shooting 100%.

I think the saying you're looking for is "He's batting a thousand" not 100%. You obviously never played baseball.
nickro again, as I've said in a previous post I'm saying 100% on purpose because its the same as batting a thousand. Thousand refers to 1.000 which equals 100%. But since some people don't realize this is on purpose I'll change it to shooting 100%
Loving the love for Affleck...
