Action movie extraordinaire, writer/director Robert Rodriguez is a busy man and has recently started his own production company called Quick Draw Productions, according to deadline.com. The company was formed as a partnership between Rodriguez, Gigi Pritzker's Odd Lot Entertainment and Michael Litvak's Bold Films, with the goal of producing and financing action-based films.

The partnership is for multiple titles, with all films expected to be either directed or produced by Rodriguez.
"This new venture allows us to develop, greenlight and produce films from the idea stage through delivery," Rodriguez said.
Odd Lot Entertainment has produced such movies as 'Green Street Hooligans' and 'The Spirit', as well as the upcoming movie 'Rabbit Hole', starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart . Both Odd Lot and Bold Films are currently producing 'Drive' with Ryan Gosling and Carrey Mulligan.
It'll be curious to see what this partnership does for Rodriguez's already flourishing career as a writer, director and producer. Sadly, I'm a bit behind on the Rodriguez movies having not seen any of them since 'Sin City' , which was one of my favorite movies ever. But I've seen enough of his work to appreciate his ability to create over the top movies that showcase stylized violence and gore.
He's currently directing 'Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World' and producing the 'Red Sonja' reboot starring Rose McGowan.
He'll likely have ample opportunities to work on more projects with his own Austin, Texas based Quick Draw Productions now in play.

I thought that Robert Rodriguez own or was a huge part of Trouble Maker Productions since it was involved with the movies he made.
