Paul Giamatti to Appear in 'The Hangover 2'

How many more well known actors will make cameos in 'The Hangover' sequel when it's all said and done?  First Liam Neeson was added to the 'The Hangover 2' cast, now Paul Giamatti has signed on to play a small role in the upcoming comedy, according to Deadline.  He'll likely join returning cast members Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper and Justin Bartha on set in Thailand in the next couple of weeks.

We already know Neeson will be playing a tattoo artist in the film, but Giamatti's role is unknown at this point.  I'm sure director Todd Phillips will find the best way to maximize Giamatti's many talents and create a character for him that stands out. 

As a big fan of the first movie and Giamatti, I like his addition to the cast, because he should add a little extra subtle humor to the sequel.  I could imagine him and Galifianakis playing off of each other really well in a few scenes.  He was hilarious in the movies 'Sideways' and 'American Splendor', so it would be nice to see him in a comedic role again. 

I'll be curious to see what role Giamatti ends up with, and who else might land a cameo in 'The Hangover 2'.
