It's been a while since we had a decent western flick and the more I see anything about the Coen brothers' True Grit, I can't help but raise my expectations just a little bit more. The movie simply looks awesome.
A couple days ago, we showed you some character posters (click here for the Gallery Viewer) from the film and today, we have three new TV spots. The film releases December 22nd and stars Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin. The plot is different from the original classic but still seems very intriguing.
The story is about a 14 year-old girl enlisting the help of a drunken United States Marshal (Bridges) to hunt down Tom Chaney (Brolin), the man who killed her father. However, wanted for another murder, a Texas Ranger is also tracking down Chaney so it becomes a race for vengeance.
