Kung Fu Panda 2 Trailer Released

DreamWorks Animation has just released a one minute teaser for Kung Fu Panda 2, which is set to release next year on May 26th.  Everyone is back for the voice overs with some new folks (like JCVD!) as well for the sequel of one of DreamWorks' finest animated films.

They are Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, David Cross, James Hong, Gary Oldman, Michelle Yeoh, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Victor Garber.  In the film, Po and the Furious Five battles a villain with a secret weapon to rule china and destroy kung fu.

Unfortunately, the trailer falls flat and below my lofty expectations.  Although the trailer is a minute long, it's really only 30 seconds.  See for yourself, you'll see what I mean:

C'mon, its just a teaser so from the beginning you can't expect much other than to introduce the movie. I actually got a chuckle out of the staring contest. The time to make judgements will be when the trailer shows actual footage from the movie, until then the movie doesn't lose any points in my book based on this.
