Trailer for 'Last Night'

With all the news and rumors about Sam Worthington being cast for this movie, turning down a role for that movie, here's a trailer for a movie he actually made. And he's not blue, doesn't swing a sword, and has an accent. Guys, hide your girls. Or not, once you hear Keira Knightley and Eva Mendes are in this one.

Last Night stars Sam and Keira as married couple Michael and Joanna Reed, and it explores their relationship when other love interests enter their lives. With Eva Mendes and Guillaume Canet as those interests, can you blame them? I'm usually not interested in pure romantic dramas (like some good comedy mixed in), but this one has caught my attention. Both Keira Knightly and Eva Mendes are always enjoyable on the big screen, and I'm curious to see Sam Worthington in more roles where his acting ability can be portrayed, instead of action or big graphics.

I'd also like to note that this film is written and directed by Massy Tadjedin. Who's that, you ask? Since 2002, she's written a few screenplays, produced a couple of those, and Last Night is her directing debut. And it looks good. If this one takes off, you might hear that name more often.

Only catch is that Last Night apparently hasn't found a distributor yet state-side, but with this cast, that's likely to change soon. If not, I'll wait for it on Netflix.
