No Pepper Potts in 'Avengers' Movie

I guess the superhero-packed action movie, The Avengers, doesn't have enough room in the script and budget to have parts for the personal assistants of the superheroes.

Gwyneth Paltrow who plays Pepper Potts in Iron Man confirmed with Collider that she will not be in The Avengers film nor was ever asked to be.  Says Paltrow, "No, no Pepper...I think it's for sure. I think they're starting shooting soon and they probably would have asked me by now."

Darn!  Not only do I like Gwyneth Paltrow as an actress but I've always wondered what Iron Man would be like without her.  It would certainly lack depth of character.  But then again, there's only so much character depth you can build when your featuring a dozen or so superheroes.
