'Twilight' Fan Blasts Universal for Stealing 'Wolfman'

Prepare yourself for the greatest thing ever. I have no reason to doubt the veractiy of Latino Review on this but even if it's not the genuine article, it should be. I'd like to believe it is. Here's the story: Twihard Kayla Patterson sent an e-mail to Universal accusing the studio of not only stealing the werewolf idea for The Wolfman from Twilight, she's also peeved that it's such a cheap imitation of Jacob Black's animal side. More than anything, I think she's just in love with Taylor Lautner. She's missing, of course, that The Wolfman is not just a remake of Universal's 70-year-old movie, but that the creature has a long history in folklore and film, and that it certainly was not created by Stephenie Meyer, nor is the New Moon werewolf its high point. In fact, it's the worst thing about New Moon, while we're on the subject. As silly as this is, Kayla does get one thing right: "If I made this movie, I would be ashamed to even admit that I owned it." Hard to argue with that. Enjoy the letter:

To whom this may concern: This movie was a complete waste and I feel that it offends ALL Twilight Fans around the world, that including myself. For one, it was a COMPLETE remaking of the Wolf Pack from the Twilight Saga: New Moon. It gives the werewolves a bad name and makes them look like some deformed mutation of a rabid dog. I actually started to like werewolves after seeing Jacob Black and all his awesomeness on the big screen at the movies. That was until I saw your crappy remake of what you call to be a "were wolf". I don't see how you live with yourself for making it the way you did. If I made this movie, I would be ashamed to even admit that I owned it. How can a werewolf be killed with a silver bullet? Better yet, have you saw the transformation of the man that is "supposed" to be the wolf? He sits in some chair and his entire body turns in to some mutated freak. If you would watch the transformation of Jacob Black, (Taylor Lautner) he doesn't come close to looking as fake, cheap and or mutated as the wolf man. You tell me, who looks to be the better werewolf. Your stupid Wolf Movie didn't even make the top Movie for the charts; Valentines Day WITH TAYLOR Lautner! Get that this is MY oppinion and I felt I wanted to express it because I saw that your email was on your site. I wanted to let you know this is what i thought of the wolf man that sucks.

Seriously? Oh, I do hope so.
I think this kid needs to crawl out of the closest and face reality at some point. New Moon's werewolves were GIANT squirrels - not hungry, angry giant dogs. Next we'll be hearing that this up and coming Dracula remake rips of poor, pathetic Edward - urgh. I wish Twilight would go hide under a rock and never return!

Is it me or is the next generation doomed? only learning and watching about werewolves from such a silly and trashy film/book like twilight?
The vampire genre has already being anally raped by Twilight..please not werewolves aswell, I have yet to see the wolfman remake...altho the reviews are not promising, But i would choose that, Dragonball evolution and ANY Uwe bol movie over anything with the name "Twilight" in.

How stupid can you be? I myself am a huge Twilight fan but was no way offended by people making a werewolf film. To me it is companies trying to make money of what is currently popular, werewolves/ vampire movies. Stephenie Meyer did help make this fad huge, but no Twilight fan should be this offended. I think whoever wrote this is really stupid.

I love how earnest she is in defending her Twilight were-wolf (a.k.a. Taylor Lautner). It's like she's defending him or something. My stomach hurts so much from laughing. Someone is going to have to break the news to her that vampires and werewolves have been around for centuries and that Meyer STOLE the concept from better writers. But to be honest, my brother was a fan boy growing up, I remember him also being this obsessed about the image of his comic book superheros. I didn't know that girls do it too though. I have to print out the letter and show people, it's too good.
