UK 'Kick-Ass' Poster and Red Band Trailer

Well, listen, I told you a few weeks ago that we were going to show you every scrap of video and every poster and photo we could find for Kick-Ass, so this shouldn't be a bolt out of the blue. If you don't want to see a ridiculous amount of Kick-Ass coverage between now and mid-April, I dunno...bite me, I guess. Here's the latest poster, a solo UK quad poster with the title character, played by Aaron Johnson.

See, Lionsgate is releasing it in the US, and Uni has some of the foreign distribution rights. Ah, the joys of independent financing. I bring that up because da U really, really, really needs some big time hits this year after finishing at the bottom of the list for the five majors in 2009 revenue. The US territory for Kick-Ass would have helped quite a bit, I think. Trailer Spy has this listed as a Red Band but there's nothing remotely unsafe for work here...or is there? Uh-huh. The real deal. Look for it on April 16th in the US, and in the UK on April 2nd. Lucky British bastards...
