You Can't Turn Away: 'Showgirls 2' Red Band Trailer

Yes, the Red Band trailer for the completely unrelated Showgirls 2: The Return contains nudity. In fact, it begins with it. And then there's one of the worst damn edits I've ever seen, followed by one of the worst movie screams I've ever heard. And it looks like it was shot for about $27, or whatever it costs to have European actresses walk around naked. Truth be told, it's one of the worst things I've ever seen, and I can't believe anyone would ever take this seriously. There are better production values in public access religious shows. Wait till you get to the brief fight scene; it's Kirk vs. Lizard Man bad. In the world of digital moviemaking and you can't reshoot this stuff? The only defense I can offer the film is that this isn't a trailer you'd ever see in theaters. It's one of those five-minute deals the producers take to film buying events (like the Berlin Film Festival last weekend) to try to attract distributors. Good luck with that, Showgirls 2. I think I'd rather pay to not have to see it.

This has to be one of the worst things I've ever seen in my short 20 years of life. I am speechless at how awful this looks. Showgirls from what I can tell (I've yet to see the entire film) is bad in a tongue-in-cheek, snarky way. This however, just looks absolutely inept in every single way. The horrendous editing, the terrible music and cinematography, and that fight scene...there is nothing else I can say about that fight scene.

This was so bad that I was fast forwarding through the parts with scantily clad or nude women gyrating on each other. That has never happened before, and hopefully will never happen again in my lifespan. Good job Showgirls: The Return . You've made lipstick lesbian strippers boring and tedious to look at.

I have no words... I mean I'm not a professional critic nor have I been to film school, but this is CRAP. I've seen better editing from my 12 year old cousin. The lighting, angles, the not so steady-steady cam. Is a Uwe Boll joint?
