Outstanding: Vote Admiral Ackbar for Ole Miss Mascot

This is just about perfect. Students at Ole Miss want to replace the school's mascot. How can you argue with the logic? As the face of the Ole Miss Rebels, the grassroots campaign at NotaTrap.org asks, "Who wants a Colonel when you can have an Admiral?" You can follow the Not a Trap faction at Twitter or on Facebook, so spread the word. Can this possibly happen? Will the tried-and-true Colonel Reb be shoved out the door by Admiral Ackbar from the Star Wars trilogy? It's highly unlikely that the administration would go for it. Then again, Scottsdale Community College is represented in gladiatorial combat by The Fighting Artichokes, so we can hope.
