Trailer - SXSW Flick 'The People vs. George Lucas'

Among the presentations at this year's South by Southwest Film Festival (SXSW if you're too cool for real words) is the documentary The People vs. George Lucas. No, Lucas didn't get sued for something recently; this is an investigation of the impact of Star Wars and the man responsible. There aren't many figures in modern cinema more divisive than George Lucas, particularly after the release of the second trilogy. Some people view him as a sort of godhead while others think he peaked in 1977 with his third film and has been mostly out of ideas ever since. But most movie fans have an opinion on Lucas, and that's the subject of the new documentary, which combines interviews with ardent supporters and the torch and pitchfork crowd determined to drive Lucas out.
