This Week in Trailers: More 'Kick-Ass', 'Clash', and 'Cop Out'

For the most part, we only saw revisions of trailers this week. Clash of the Titans (now opening April 2nd), Kick-Ass, and Cop Out all treated us to slightly altered versions of trailers we'd seen before, although I expect that between now and the Academy Awards, a few new movies, primarily from the summer, will start popping up so we can talk about them. We also got our first look at the most unheralded Oscar nominee of all, the animated flick The Secret of Kells, as well as a couple minutes of Takers. You know, one of the best things about movie trailers is sometimes, they can save you money down the road. Watching the teaser for Takers pretty much keeps the cash in my pocket. Another Kick-Ass trailer, just because At least one laugh (but still not many) in the Cop Out Red Band trailer A variation on a theme from Clash of the Titans The Secret of Kells - or - probable footnote to Up Ricky Gervais' Cemetery Junction was not what I expected Ong Bak 3 and the amazing Tony Jaa Apparently, Takers is for people who like bad acting in bad movies
