Monday, February 8, 2010 at 8:21AM Holiday-Themed 'Valentine's Day' Sequel in the Works
I wish I had better news to report, but unfortunately, it looks like the most deliberately fashioned romantic comedy in a long time is getting an equally inorganic sequel. Movie Web says that Valentine's Day is already primed for a sequel. Yuck.

It will not be a Valentine's Day 2, but it might as well be. The Garry Marshall film is likely to be updated as - brace yourself - New Year's Eve. "The film would presumably take place in the 24 hours between December 31st and January 1st," confers Movie Web, "with the producers hoping to persuade director Garry Marshall to return as well as bringing back some of the actors from the first movie to maintain continuity."
Writer Katherine Fugate has already written a draft for the sequel, but really, how hard could that be? Couldn't she just use Find/Replace and do most of the work? New Line and Warner Bros. will bring Valentine's Day and its cast of thousands to theaters on Friday, so that makes us wonder about New Year's Eve.Usually, that's a dead weekend for new films, because the studio folks like to take some time off. But with the performance this past December 31st weekend (or, if you're a stickler, January 1st - 3rd), there's no reason to actively avoid it, especially if you're the only new game in town.
I can't wait until all the lovelorn hot chicks and metrosexual guys make a movie about Arbor Day. Man, I hope there are enough songs in the Black Eyed Peas canon to make all those trailers...

...yoooo didnt we get that movie already and wasnt it called Love, Actually...or am i totally off and they are actually working on an american remake of love actually...the lack of creativity is jus disgusting and pathetic...
If Garry Marshall wants to make the film, just take 3 or 2 actors/actresses from Valentine's Day and create a new group of Cast Members. Garry can take a few disney stars into the film, and probably if George Lopez is the comedy man from Valentine's Day, For New Year's Day it's Ken Jeong to be the comedy man. Trust me, he will make the movie more hilarious!

Palash and simul trees have just shed their blooms, and the monsoon cloud is nowhere near the christian louboutin sale. Blazing winds will greet you at Jhapater Dhal as the terrain onwards turns parched christian shoes and arid.'
