"You can't compete with Arnold Schwarzenegger," says Robert Rodriguez of Predators, "so it's much better to go the other direction and do something the audience isn't expecting." Yep. That's exactly what you should do there, so let's hope he and director Nimród Antal live up to that end of the bargain.

Rodriguez introduces a new preview of Predators, giving us our first glimpses of Adrien Brody and Laurence Fishburne in action, as well as more of those predators, who are the real stars here. Obviously, casting Brody as the lead fits into that whole "don't do the Arnold approach" concept, and based on the little we see here, it ought to have plenty of action even without reliable action stars.
Take a look; I was pretty impressed. The film comes out July 7th, which is right in the thick of things this summer.

Jude Law and Adrien Brody are the new action hero archetypes? There is hope for us all, I guess...
They did a great job with predators. I have watched it and it is so good. There is nothing better then this. I want to see more in the future.

Predators along with the Alien has been a fruitful franchise for Hollywood since the 1980s, when the originial films were released. There has been sequels, Aliens vs Predators movies and even if the movies were not very successful, or the ideas were not loyal to the original films; the fans of both series kept hoping for the next big and fun film. Luckily for them, Fox had requested a script from successful director and writer Robert Rodriguez years ago and they remembered this, somehow. Now there is a great Predators movie waiting for the fans to see.
