Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 7:23PM Jamie Foxx Joins Bruce Willis in 'Kane & Lynch'
The video game adaptation Kane & Lynch has had Bruce Willis attached for some time, but he's only half the equation. Collider says that Jamie Foxx is in negotiations to reside on the other side of the ampersand.

Foxx is one of the few actors to be Oscar-nominated for different performances in the same year (Collateral and Ray), but he sure hasn't made much of an impact in the five years since. That happens a lot. Of course, it doesn't excuse his upcoming Sheneneh and Wanda movie with Martin Lawrence, but whatever.
Kane & Lynch could be OK. The game has a workable narrative, and that's really the problem with a lot of these video game flicks, like Max Payne. If you care about this sort of thing, Lynch is white in the game and now he'll be played by Jamie Foxx. It hardly matters, because a) it's a fictional character and b) he's hardly an iconic character.
I agree with Collider that Willis and Foxx could be a good team. The trouble is, they've both been A-OK with showing up in bad movies for a while now, so it's not like they signed Daniel Day-Lewis or anything. The film has been about two years in the making already, so I'm sure everyone involved is glad they finally have the biggest pieces in place.
The last update we read was that this would film in March. I doubt it's exactly on that schedule if they just found their Lynch, but the goal is to get it underway soon.

So I assume Lynch is the guy with longer hair and going bald then?
Who knows, it might go the route Hitman took and actually be decent.
