'Sex and the City 2' Poster Hardly a Desert Oasis

What has two thumbs and is really unimpressed by the trailers and posters for Sex and the City 2? This guy. Here's the latest poster, which reminds me how much hotter Gemma Arterton looks surrounded by a bunch of desert sand in Prince of Persia. I don't expect this one to do the kind of business the first movie managed. For one thing, the thrill is gone; the thrill is gone away. For another, it looks like a Frankenstein movie, with bits and pieces and ideas from all over the place. I'm sure it'll make money at first, but I'm just as confident that the story will be absolute shit, something that was certainly not true during the glory days of the show. Let's face it, Sex and the City broke some ground before it just became a runway for the new fall lines.
