Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 2:41AM Stallone "99 Per Cent Sure" We're Done With 'Rambo'
Remember how Sylvester Stallone was writing a fifth Rambo? Something that, at one point, involved the aging Vietnam veteran fighting a bunch of super soldiers? Well, forget it. Stallone says Rambo has fought his last mission.

"I think Rambo's pretty well done. I don't think there'll be any more. I'm about 99 per cent sure," Sly tells Empire while promoting The Expendables. The odd part about Stallone's announcement is that a deal was set for Rambo V: The Savage Hunt months ago, and here's the kicker: It's the same company (Nu Image/Millennium) that bankrolled The Expendables.
Or perhaps that's not so strange. If the producers like the prospects of The Expendables more than Rambo 5 then it might be a one-or-the-other scenario where the money men are concerned. At to that end: "We're already working on [an Expendables] sequel," Stallone says.
There was really nothing left for John Rambo to do, though. His story ended. He found his peace or whatever it was. So let it go. As for The Expendables, it's way too early to tell how that'll do. Easier window to work with in the doldrums of August, though, so it might do well enough here combined with the international receipts.
Now...what about Rocky?
