Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 3:24PM This Week in Trailers: 'Adjustment Bureau,' 'Easy A,' Space Nazis in 'Iron Sky'
It was a big week for small trailers. While last week aimed for the fences with Inception and Super 8, the past seven days have been more modest (although we got a better version than the leaked Super 8 trailer). I guess the big new discovery was The Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, which didn't exactly floor me.
But sometimes it isn't the big movies that generate the most heat with their trailers. I think Emma Stone's Easy A looks really funny, and if there's a better plot for a movie than Nazis hiding on the moon waiting to launch a full-scale attack on Earth, I've never heard it. That's the setup for Iron Sky, a Finnish flick that treats us to two trailers this week.
At least they moved The Adjustment Bureau out of summer and away from Inception
Space Nazis rule. This is Iron Sky
One more trailer for Robin Hood
Emma Stone in the Scarlet Letter update, Easy A
The official version of Super 8, which is not about a motel chain
Zac Efron drops the singing and dancing and adds the crying in Charlie St. Cloud
Kristen Bell's You Again looks much better than When in Rome
Danny Trejo Double Shot: Vengeance and the Lego trailer for Machete
