Cruise's Len Grossman Produces MTV Movie Awards

There were two completely unconscious performances in Tropic Thunder. They were both nominated or Golden Globes, and Robert Downey, Jr. earned an Oscar nomination for his. The other, of course, was Tom Cruise as superproducer Len Grossman, the bombastic producer of the movie within the movie. There was talk that Grossman might get a spin-off of some kind, maybe webisodes or something, and now he's back, "producing" the MTV Movie Awards. Here are a couple promos from Music Television, which feature Grossman discussing an appearance on the Movie Awards with Robert Pattinson and correcting a pivotal scene in the nascent stages of Tom Cruise's career. The MTV Movie Awards air next Sunday, June 6th.

I love Les Grossman so much!! He totally won me over after thinking for years Tom Cruise had become a self-serious one-trick pony. Tom should definitely stick with comedy; he's really good at it!!

I may be used to seeing Tom Cruise a bit too much maybe, but I don't buy his performances anymore. I somehow see him through his every role and I don't like that in an actor.
