Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 7:46AM Trailer - The Direct-to-DVD 'Lost Boys: The Thirst'
Did the sequel to The Lost Boys released on video a couple years ago, really make that much money or leave so many questions unanswered that we need a third one? I don't know about the second part, but Lost Boys: The Tribe was Warner Premiere's biggest-selling DVD of 2008, earning back its $5 million budget in just a few weeks, and that's why we are where we are.

Corey Feldman is back, raising our spirits with a rousing "Let's Rock N' Roll," as well as a rather bold request for "very expensive, custom-made" weapons to fight the latest vampire scourge. It seems the Draculites are introducing a new party drug to the club scene, except it's not really a drug at all, it's vampire blood.
The Frog brothers are back in business, and really, is it any less necessary than all the other damn vampire stories cluttering the movie and TV landscape these days? Well...maybe. But perhaps Lost Boys: The Thirst will wrap everything up neatly and those of us who saw the original in theaters can go back to not remembering how old we've gotten.
There's no release date for The Thirst yet, but it's presumably hitting stores and such later this year.
