Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 4:28AM Yeah, 'Bad Boys 3' Is A Strong Probably
Will Smith has been laying low lately, but he's getting his franchise on again soon, signing up for Men in Black 3, which now has a Memorial Day 2012 release date, and according to Jerry Bruckheimer, Bad Boys 3, as well.
Talking to Coming Soon, ostensibly about Prince of Persia, Bruckheimer gave a soft confirmation of what's been rumored here and there for a few months, and what Martin Lawrence more or less admitted during press rounds for Death at a Funeral, that everybody would be back to complete the trilogy.
Ever the producer, Bruckheimer stopped short of going all in, but how many of his projects don't get made? "It's a wish and a hope and a dream," he said of the threequel. "We've been working on a screenplay, which is excellent. It's an idea Will gave us, so hopefully, it will come to fruition; we would love it to."
And that's all you need to hear about that, I think. Will Smith came up with the idea, so he wants to do it, Martin Lawrence has been waiting for this phone call for a long time, and Bruckheimer's gang has already been working on the screenplay. The second one, entirely too long, is kind of like the Ocean's 12 of this franchise. Even with Michael Bay directing, they can do better than that.
What really matters is that Will Smith will be back. Big Willie Style + guns = money.

Between the salaries of Bruckheimer, Smith and Bay I can't even imagine how much this movie will cost even before factoring in the production and marketing costs.
people get down on bad boys 2 but when i was in high school when this movie came out and all the kids liked or loved it. One of my friends actually said it was his favorite movie. And me i actually really loved the movie. Say what you want about length but it was such a smooth movie and transittioned pretty well and is very easy to watch for me
I agree with Chad. I loved both Bad Boys movies and would love to see one more. Then again pretty much any Will Smith movie i love. Doesn't matter the role...the guy is just entertaining
I think here is the best one also...
