Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 7:29PM 'The Crow' Reboot Filming By End of This Year
They're still going through with that reboot of The Crow; feel free to drop your thoughts on that in the comments section. Stephen Norrington, who's been guiding it for a couple years through development, won't keep us waiting too much longer.
Producer Edward Pressman, tells MTV the plan is star the reboot very soon. "[We've got an offer out] to a major actor and things are moving ahead very aggressively, with the aim of doing the film this year," Pressman said.
"The setting is the southwest — the Mexico/Arizona area — and an urban [setting], Detroit or Pittsburgh or something like that," added the producer, who calls the script "fantastic," as if he'd say "it's atrocious."
"There are two locations that the film is set. Its initial platform is in the southwest and then it moves to the big city in the north, middle or eastern America, and then back."
Pressman went on to say that the reboot will be quite different from Alex Proyas' film, which is something Norrington has said in the past, as well. I would imagine this also impacts the leading role, too, and while I'm sure there are plenty of guys who are capable of it, that's going to be a hard comparison to overcome.

Really?...my god are we that out of ideas that we are gonna remake good movies now?
Really?! Come on, another remake, truly Hollywood has run out of ideas. I mean remakes are great when done well but sometimes they need to leave it alone as the original is always the best (Clash of Titans).
