Teresa Palmer Says She's Not In 'Mad Max 4'

Turns out Teresa Palmer, the lovely Aussie actress soon to be seen in The Sorcerer's Apprentice, won't be in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. The post-apocalypse just lost some pretty. Coming Soon quotes Palmer as saying, "I'm not [in it], actually," Palmer said, "That's just a rumor that has been on the internet." Hmm, sorry to dispute you, Teresa, but you've already commented on the rumor, and it wasn't exactly a firm denial of anything. In fact, they only way to interpret it is that you had a role but signed a non-disclosure agreement or something. "I may or may not be," Palmer said back in April. "It's just a rumor; I can't talk about it. I've been told not to." Now, really, if she's told not to talk about it, what does that make you think? Exactly. But apparently she's not involved...or this is just another smoke screen by that tricky George Miller. Probably not, though, since Charlize Theron confirmed she's in the project and she's excited to work with Tom Hardy as the new Mad Max (at least some kind of Mad Max). So Palmer's probably out, but that could mean she was vying for the role that eventually went to Adelaide Clemens. Palmer's still got plenty going on, though. She's shooting I Am Number Four with director D.J. Caruso and a big cast, which opens next February.
