Trailer - Julia Roberts in 'Eat Pray Love'

Letters to Juliet is fine and all, I guess, but you know what's missing from summer? A big, gotta-see romantic comedy. That's not me talking, but rather the marketplace, which, honestly, is starving for something to offer women. In particular, there's nothing for women past those heady years of hitting the nightclubs on Saturday and the resort swimming pools on Sunday. So, moms, divorcees: Here's Julia. The unquestioned queen of this kind of stuff is Julia Roberts. She's good at it and ever since Pretty Woman, she has been able to sell tickets to just about any movie that promises romance. Eat Pray Love wisely puts Julia where her core audience is, namely at a crossroads in her life. Should she accept the workaday world she's been a part of or is there a whole lot more out there? The answer, of course, is B. And so Julia heads to Italy, India, and Bali to discover herself through discovering the rest of the world. And Javier Bardem, too, apparently. The book was big and the movie looks like an open and shut case.
