Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 5:13AM New 'Captain America' Poster...But Is It Legit?
Is this a real Captain America: The First Avenger poster? Wouldn't take much to fake it, certainly. When JoBlo revealed it yesterday, it was not a certified image, and since then, I can't even find the story on JoBlo.com anymore, so we'll consider it a phony. Click to see the whole thing.

There have been plenty on fan-created posters for the third Batman movie and several others, usually of the comic book variety. And this one would be simple to do, since Marvel has shown Cap's shield in logo artwork from several months ago and in the recently released concept art of the super soldier's costume.
Of course, why the shield would be in some dark alley downtown, which appears to be the case with this design, is completely beyond me. We're calling fake; Marvel wouldn't have pushed this out a month after Iron Man 2 and six weeks before Comic Con.

My guess is that we'll find that this will be much like the one for "Wonder Woman", where someone will eventually peel away the top layers to find some hidden image behind the shield (any other reason why there are all of those "imperfections" around the shield that look like little explosions of light?
highly unlikely that the studio would publish the credits on a teaser at this stage when the movie has only just gone into production.
