Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 8:35PM Another Pitch-Perfect Trailer for 'The Social Network'
The Social Network is not just three-for-three with its trailers, these are tremendous sales tools for the movie that also happen to be completely unlike anything else going right now. You rarely see a trailer campaign flawless from go.
For the first time, we see video from David Fincher's Facebook movie, although some of the clips have been referenced - audio only - in the earlier incarnations. This time around, there's a haunting version of Radiohead's "Creep" that moves the trailer along...and it's just all very, very well done.
And I'll say this, too: Jesse Eisenberg, who has mastered a young Woody Allen neurosis on screen, shows a little bit more here, which is certainly welcome. Yeah...can't say The Social Network is missing much at this point.

Hot damn. The Facebook movie opens October 1st.

That's an awesome trailer. These keep getting better and better.
For the record, I didn't like the first "teaser", it reminded me of bullshit in the video game industry when they give you a trailer that shows you absolutely nothing. The second one was better but this one is just eye-catching and really awesome. I might actually maybe possibly be looking forward to this now.
